Made in Iceland
A tent, some food and a camera. What else you need to enjoy life in an amazing nature. While I was watching the video I remember the time that we went to tramping in New Zealand.

3. Köprüyü Geçen Kadar
Toplam Türkiye nüfusunun %17,8'i İstanbul'da yaşıyor. Yani kaba bir hesap yapacak olursak her 5 kişiden 1 tanesi İstanbul'lu. Sonra, sırasıyla %6,4 ile Ankara, %5,3 ile İzmir, %3,5 ile Bursa geliyor Türkiye nüfusunun barındırması anlamında.
Peki bu kadar çok insan, altyapısı olmayan, her yağan yağmurda seller basan, planlamama konusunda örnek bir şehirde beraber yaşarsa ne olur. Hangi hizmet doğru bir şekilde sağlanabilir ki? Bu şehrin, işsizlik sorunu mu çözülür, yoksa ulaşım sorunu mu?Ancak sağolsun Kadir Topbaş, Binali Yıldırım ve Tayyip Erdoğan üçlüsü İstanbul'un ulaşım sorununu çözmeye karar vermişler. Demişler ki İstanbul'un ulaşım sorununun çözümü 3. köprüdür. Hem de bu köprü İstanbul'un son ormanlık alanların bulunan kuzey tarafından geçsin.
Burada amacım sadece AKP yaptığı için muhalefet etmek değildir. Zaten İstanbul gibi plansız büyüyen bir şehrin Google Earth'den görebildiğimiz yegane yeşil bölgesinin ortasından karayolu geçirecek böylesi büyük bir projeye herkesin karşı çıkması gerekir.
Kadir Topbaş, 3. köprünün geçeceği güzergahı anlatırken ormanlık arazinin en az şekilde zarar göreceğini söylüyor ancak İBB verilerine göre projenin %48'i orman arazisi, %11'i 2B arazisi üzerinden geçecek. Yani %59'luk bölümü orman ve orman niteliğini kaybetmiş olarak tanımlanan arzinin üzerinden geçecek bu projenin.
3. Köprünün geçeceği yer kırmızı ile gözüken yemyeşil, Poyrazköy ile Garipçe arasında
Millet, marketten aldığı 2 tek plastik poşetin hesabını yaparken, 1 Milyon 600 Bin ağacın kesilmesine ses çıkarmamak, bindiğin dalı kesmek değil de nedir?
Aklıma gelen birkaç soru...
- Kadir Topbaş'ın basın toplantısında belirttiği gibi yollar yapılırken orman arazilerine minimum zarar verilse bile o yolların geçeceği yolların çevresi bir rant merkezine dönüşmeyecek midir?
- İstanbul'un ulaşım planında önemli bir yere sahip olacak bu yollar üzerinde otel, villa, iş merkezi yapmak isteyecek hiç mi yatırımcı olmayacak? Peki olursa İBB gerçekten bu izinleri vermeyecek midir?
Netice itibariyle, İstanbul gibi büyük kentlerin ulaşım sorununun çözülmesi ancak toplu taşımanın daha yaygın ve daha konforlu (Metrobüs gibi değil) olmasıyla giderilir.
Bu soruların cevabını biliyoruz. Bu yüzdendir ki İstanbul'un kuzey bölgesi için yapılacak bu denli büyük bir projeye siyasi görüşü ne olursa olsun bütün İstanbul'lular karşı çıkmalıdır.
Peki, burada internette yapılan muhalefet işe yarayacak mıdır? Hiç sanmıyorum, ancak bu projeye onay verenler, bindikleri dalı kestiklerine birgün çok pişman olacaklardır. Doğa ile oyun oynanmaz...
Fall Colors
The spring used to be my favourite season until I realized that I get hay fever every spring. I can't enjoy spring as much as I used to. For me, spring means sneezing, runny nose and pain in the eyes!. Maybe that's why I am trying to like autumn.
Autumn is a fall on earth. It reminds me decease. I don't know if it's a coincidence that people I loved died in the fall. People are getting sick around me. It's a divorce season. Even the leaves brake up with their lovely bodies until spring. I like the sound when I step on a leaf tho=)
In the other hand fall is the season of change. We change our clothes in the wardrobe, start wearing jumpers and scarves. People start to go out with their umbrellas. New semesters in the school. Autumn has a special magic and its color.

Who will pay for this disaster?
BP(Beyond Petroleum) or its known old name British Petrol is the 4th biggest company in the world with 367 billion USD revenue, 21.1 billion USD profit. BP has 97,600 employees and their headquarters is in London.
BP doesn't only consist of petrol stations that we can always see on the side of the roads. BP Group is also the owner of well-known world brands such as BP, Aral, Astro, Castrol etc. but more importantly they are doing large scale operations such as finding, extracting oil, moving the oil that they find on earth with a large scale projects such as the Baku-Ceyhan Pipeline and refining oil in the huge refineries that they own. These activities make BP the 4th biggest company of the world.
So, is this giant petroleum corporation really environmentally friendly as they promote it in their website or an evil company that is consuming world resources and harming earth?
BP has lot's of oil searching and extracting platforms around the world. One of them is in the Gulf of Mexico. This platform executed by Transocean under BP supervision. On April 20th, an explosion started massive ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, now considered the largest offshore spill in U.S. history. The explosion killed 11 platform workers and injured 17 others. Since then BP hasn't been able to close the hole in the blowout preventer valves to stop the oil spillage in the Gulf of Mexico. Oil is still leaking to the sea for more than a month and according to some news, BP might not be able to stop the leaking by August 2010.
In a permit submitted May 13, 2010, BP estimated a worst case spill of 240,000 barrels (10,000,000 US gallons; 38,000,000 litres) per day for each of the two relief wells that are being drilled in an attempt to stop the uncontrolled release.
Obviously this environment disaster affects a lot of people and speices that lives at the Gulf of Mexico. The most important question is how will BP pay for this or is there enough money to pay worth of destroying a specie in that region? I personally want BP to be punished with an astronomic fine and collapse. It might be a good lesson for all other petroleum companies to understand there are a consequence's to harming the earth.
